Basic Gundog
Our Basic Gundog Training program establishes a solid foundation for handlers and dogs. The curriculum includes obedience training for reliable command response, force fetch, and collar conditioning for consistent communication. Dogs work on single bird marks and running marks through decoys to simulate hunting scenarios. We introduce gunfire acclimatization at the line and train dogs to exit hunting blinds, emphasizing good obedience and blind manners. This comprehensive approach prepares your gundog for fieldwork and hunting success.
Advanced Gundog
In this training program, we encompass all aspects of basic gundog instruction, while also teaching dogs to handle effectively both on land and in water. Our program includes running multiple marks, such as double and triple mark setups that are more difficult, to enhance your dog's retrieving skills. We focus on advancing your dog's capabilities by exposing them to more complex hunting scenarios. This comprehensive approach ensures that your dog is well-prepared for various hunting environments, improving their performance and reliability in the field
Hunt Test Training
Our Hunt Test training significantly enhances the skills acquired from the Advanced program by introducing a variety of challenging hunt test marks and blinds to further develop your dog's abilities. We offer our valued clients an excellent opportunity to showcase their dogs’ exceptional skills through participation in both local and national hunt tests. Our thorough training prepares participants for various levels, including HRC's Started, Seasoned, and Finished categories, as well as the esteemed AKC Master Test. Additionally, we take pride in running dogs at prestigious events, such as the renowned HRC Grand and the distinguished AKC Master National, providing your canine companions with invaluable experiences.
