About Your Trainer
Andrew Coppa
Hello everyone,
My name is Andrew Coppa, and I am the owner and trainer at Coppa Kennels. With nearly nine years of experience in dog training, my journey began with the simple goal of training my puppy to be a hunting dog. This initial interest led me to join a local dog club, where I gained valuable knowledge in dog training and hunt tests. Starting as an amateur, I participated in entry-level tests and gradually advanced to more complex ones. After several years of independent testing, I was offered a position as an assistant professional dog trainer, which I eagerly accepted. This opportunity allowed me to work at a renowned and large kennel, where I honed my skills and developed a deep passion for dog training. Following 4 ½ years of experience at Flatlander Kennels, I decided to establish my own venture. My focus now is on training a select number of dogs to foster healthy and strong relationships with each one.
