Our Basic Gundog Training program establishes a solid foundation for handlers and dogs. The curriculum includes obedience training for reliable command response, force fetch, and collar conditioning for consistent communication. Dogs work on single bird marks and running marks through decoys to simulate hunting scenarios. We introduce gunfire acclimatization at the line and train dogs to exit hunting blinds, emphasizing good obedience and blind manners. This comprehensive approach prepares your gundog for fieldwork and hunting success.

Advanced Gundog

In this training program, we encompass all aspects of basic gundog instruction, while also teaching dogs to handle effectively both on land and in water. Our program includes running multiple marks, such as double and triple mark setups that are more difficult, to enhance your dog's retrieving skills. We focus on advancing your dog's capabilities by exposing them to more complex hunting scenarios. This comprehensive approach ensures that your dog is well-prepared for various hunting environments, improving their performance and reliability in the field.

Our Hunt Test training enhances skills from the Advanced program by introducing varied hunt test marks and blinds. We offer clients a chance to showcase their dogs’ abilities through participation in hunt tests. Our training prepares for HRC's Started, Seasoned, Finished levels, and the AKC Master Test. We also run dogs at prestigious events like the HRC Grand and AKC Master National.
